Cambodia is not short of water. In addition to having a tropical climate, Cambodia is also nourished by the Mekong river and Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia during the wet season. Cambodia is now emerging as one of the fastest growing economies in Asia, and the rapid expansion of industry has required careful husbandry of precious water resources. The Cambodia Water Association works with the government and water operators to ensure the operational continuity of water supply. The speaker is Mr Lim Minh, Executive Director, Cambodia Water Association. He has worked for over 20 years in a variety of roles. He holds a master’s degree of Rural Development and Project Management, High School Teaching Diploma on Mathematics and bachelor’s degree on Mathematic from Phnom Penh Royal University.
