Categories of Membership

Ordinary Membership

All Singapore-registered companies and organisations which are active in the water industry or are supportive of the objectives of the association shall be eligible to apply for admission as an Ordinary member.

Associate Membership

Companies or organisations who are interested in the water and wastewater industry but do not qualify for Ordinary Membership may apply for Associate membership. Associate members are entitled to the same rights and privileges as Ordinary Members except voting rights.

Institutional Membership

Registered associations, institutions or societies whose activities fall within the water and wastewater industry may apply for Institutional Membership. Institutional Membership are entitled to the same rights and privileges as Ordinary Members except voting rights. This allows organisations in academia like the polytechnics, and other associations to join.

Individual / YWP Membership

Individual membership is offered to any person whose professional, business or company is associated to the water and wastewater industry. Individual members have no voting rights. This will allow, mainly the professionals and those interested in the water industry or the programmes offered by SWA, to sign up as a member.
