[Hybrid] Water-Food-Energy Nexus – Towards a Circular Business Economy

Event Invitation :

The Singapore Water Association would like to cordially invite you to attend our event : Water-Food-Energy Nexus – Towards a Circular Business Economy which will take on a hybrid format on Tuesday, 11^th January 2022 (10am to 1130am) at PUB WaterHub Auditorium 80 Toh Guan Rd East Level 3.

 

This event is co-organised with Singapore Environmental Council (SEC) ; supported by PUB Singapore Water Exchange.  There is a growing understanding that sustainability presents a commercial opportunity and strategic priority. Such a shift requires a transformation of business models and leveraging on innovative technologies. SEC will share on Eco-certifications, green labels and key innovative trends to safeguard against climate related risks to shift towards a circular business economy while SWA will share the challenges and opportunities landscape in the Water-Food-Energy Nexus.

 

With this event, we would to assist water companies to understand key trends on climate related risks, Innovative ways to transform business models and how to leverage technologies, Green labels, Eco-certifications through a circular approach.

 

Our Guest-of-Honour, Dr. Amy Khor, SMS of Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment; will give an opening remarks at the event and witness the Mou Signing Ceremony between SWA and SEC.  This is a landmark cooperation between the water industry and the Singapore  Environmental Council which will enable water sector companies to be equipped with sustainability principles and SEC member companies to gain from advanced water solutions offered by Singapore based water companies.
