Dialogue with the World Bank Group and IFC

The dialogue session with the World Bank Group and IFC was overwhelmed with 60 attendees who gained insights for the market requisite, World Banks’s guidelines, criteria and procedures on project procurement.  

SWA council member, Mr Dinesh Sharma gave an opening remarks on Singapore water landscape and global challenges for clean, sanitized and hygiene drinking water.

Objectives:

Ø    To share with SWA members, the World Bank (WB) vision for the water sector, the Bank portfolio and trends.

Ø    To share with SWA members, the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank group member) vision,

areas of engagement in the Water Sector, including their work with the Water Industry.

Ø    WB and IFC will share the ongoing and upcoming water projects in the region. Providing an overview of the

procurement and participation guidelines.

Ø    SWA members to share with the Wold Bank their perspectives and vision for the Water Sector Industry.
