Best Practices in Steel Pipeline Corrosion Protection
The workshop co-organised with Borouge on 19th September with the venue support from PUB. SWA Council Member, Mr Robin Wong, gave an enlightening welcome address to the 55 water industry professionals.
Participants had an overview of the common corrosion protection methods for steel pipelines used today including coater capacities and capabilities in South East Asia and were familiarized with relevant national and international pipeline coating standards. Borouge speaker, Mr Chanchal Dasgupta, shared and reviewed regional case studies and lessons learnt from water pipeline projects that have adopted 3LPE protection systems.
