Technical Site Visit To Floating Solar Photovoltaic Testbed By Seris

21 participants visited the Floating Solar Photovoltaic Testbed at Tengeh Reservoir organised by SWA. Participants got to see the world’s largest of its kind, and comprises 10 different types of floating structures and PV modules of approximately 100 kWp each. This setup allows the comparison of the performance of PV installations relative to each other and also to rooftop mounted systems. Floating PV is highly promising because of Singapore’s land-scarcity and location in the tropics. The testbed also features a system with active cooling, as well as a rooftop reference system.
